Wendell Glass

Chorus Director

Hello and welcome to our web site. My name is Wendell Glass and I'm proud to be the Chorus Director of the River Cities Jubilee Chorus. I love to sing and I especially love to sing Barbershop. This is my third year directing the River Cities Jubilee Chorus and I'm really excited about the prospects here. We are always looking for more like-minded men to join us and help us ring chords and keep this great musical art form alive in our area.

I've been singing since I was a boy and I’ve been in a variety of groups over the years. I started in my church, in high school choir, in college and throughout my adult life I've had a musical outlet of some kind. I've sung in gospel quartets, in barbershop quartets, in ensembles small and large. I'd been the assistant director here for several years before becoming the official director, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what we can do together as I fill this role. Come and visit us and I promise I'll make you feel welcome and wanted.

Don't read music? Don’t worry about it. Only about half our guys do so you certainly won’t be alone. We have lots of tools to help you learn. All you need is a love for singing, to be able to carry a tune, and to be willing to work on your music outside of our chapter meetings. If you have those, you’ll fit in well with us. Come check us out!
